Mr. Dan Okeke has been appointed the Group Executive Director of family owned Nigerian investment  company, Heirs Holdings. His appointment took effect from 1st August, 2020.

Mr. Okeke assumes the role having had a stellar career at the United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) spanning three decades. In his capacity as the Executive Director of UBA, he led the consumer, commercial and public-sector businesses.

In his new role at Heirs Holdings, he shall be responsible for for business coordination and growth  across Heirs Holdings’ portfolio of pan-African investments in the power, financial services, oil and gas, hospitality, real estate, healthcare, and financial technology sectors.

Mr. Okeke received an undergraduate degree in Geography and Planning from the University of Nigeria and an MBA (Finance) from Enugu State University of Science & Technology.

He is an associate of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and has attended various local and international programmes, including the Competition and Strategy program at the Harvard Business School.
